Like many Business operating on a global basis, Coats wanted a multilingual website that was easy to maintain and could be tailored to the needs of each specific market.
solution needed - 'sans frontières' The solution, designed and built by Arbor Web Development, using our unique Builder site management system, features a translation tool as standard. Coats’s editors can translate information from English to their local language and publish it, along with market specific data, from any computer connected to the internet, anywhere in the world. Editors can not make alterations to template layout or link page references, so the original content and design elements can not be changed. The system also automatically directs visitors to the correct language version in line with the default language of their browser software.
the result - in your local language! Coats now reaches out to its audiences around the world. Published in 5 languages, the site includes advice on embroidery and crochet, plus patterns, recipes and general information from different parts of the world. Visitors are also assisted to create and download patterns.
